This large serving plate features a delicate blue floral motif, making it a beautiful centerpiece for presenting fresh fruit or main courses. The motif is hand-painted, and the back of the plate bears a rare artist's signature, a sign of its authenticity and craftsmanship. Bring a piece of Scandinavian design history to your table with this vintage “Anemone” dinnerware from Arabia, the renowned Finnish manufacturer. Designed by Ulla Procopé in 1962, the pattern was produced throughout the 1960s and 1970s.
Delicate anemone flowers are painted in deep cobalt blue on a soft cream-to-light-grey glaze and framed by a dark blue border. This big plate is typical of mid-century Nordic ceramics: graphic and timeless.
Vintage item: this piece is vintage and pre-owned. It has had a previous life and may show light signs of age and use, which are part of its charm.
