In its early days, Bing & Grøndahl created delicate biscuit faience figurines inspired by the neoclassical style of Bertel Thorvaldsen. Over time, the company reinvented itself, producing tableware, tea and coffee sets… a refined art of living. Among its treasures, the “Tema” series still fascinates collectors today. Its vibrant glazes — green, blue, and red — along with its iconic metal handle, make it a piece that is both rare and unforgettable. It was designed by the Danish designer Jens Quistgaard, best known for his contributions to Scandinavian modernism during the 1950s and 1960s. He began his career in his father’s sculpture workshop before becoming an apprentice to Georg Jensen, and later the chief designer for the U.S.-based brand Dansk Designs, where he worked for several decades.

This teapot is perfect for tea lovers. Volume: 1.5 liters.

Vintage item: this piece is vintage and pre-owned. It has had a previous life and may show light signs of age and use, which are part of its charm.
