VINTAGE TEAPOT & WARMER SET, SØHOLM, DENMARK 1960s

Lovely teapot designed by Noomi Backhausen for Søholm Stentøj, in Denmark. It is signed on the base. Its colours and delicate leaf motifs evoke autumn. It comes with its warmer, which keeps the tea at the right temperature throughout serving.

The matte glaze has a particularly soft and pleasant feel. With its gracefully shaped handle and spout, the teapot has an elegant silhouette that looks just as good on a set table as on a collector's shelf.
